Heather Marie Prendergast, MD, FACEP

Originally from Chicago, Illinois, it is only natural that Dr. Heather Marie Prendergast fulfilled her undergraduate studies at University of Illinois at Champaign-Urbana with a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry. She returned to the University of Illinois at Chicago for medical school and graduated in 1994. Dr. Prendergast’s residency was completed at the University of Maryland Medical Center with their Emergency Medicine Residency Program in 1997. In 1999 she received her board certification from the American College of Emergency Physicians and became a Fellow of the American College of Emergency Physicians in 2001. Dr. Prendergast has special interest in Geriatrics and is involved with important medical research as well. Some of her personal interests include doting over her two young children and loving husband, running, watching movies, and taking photographs.
