Timothy B. Erickson, MD, FACEP, FACMT, FAACT

Dr. Timothy B. Erickson is a very accomplished physician. He started his career at Greenville College with his Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology in 1982. Not too far from his hometown in Elgin, Illinois, he completed his Medical Degree at Chicago Medical School in 1986. In 1989 he finished his residency with the University of Illinois Affiliated Residency in Emergency Medicine. Dr. Erickson’s Board Certification was received in 1990 and 2000 from the American Board of Emergency Medicine. He is also Board-Certified by the American Board of Toxicology after completing a fellowship in Medical Toxicology for both Cook County Hospital and University of Illinois at Chicago Hospital in 1991. Beyond Dr. Erickson’s daily responsibilities, he is a Residency Program Director of the University of Illinois Combined Residency in Emergency Medicine, Director of the Division of Clinical Toxicology, and a national speaker at emergency medicine and medical toxicology conferences. Working in the hospital is only one of Dr. Erickson’s interests. When he is not enjoying time with his family, you can find him seeking adventure as a mountain climber, running a marathon, playing baseball or music on his beloved guitar.
