Welcome to Midwest Medical Center, a patient-centered hospital and medical office campus located a few miles west of historic and beautiful Main Street in Galena, IL.
On December 5, 2007, we opened the doors to our new state-of-the-art facility and launched several new services. We provide outstanding, compassionate care to those who live and work in the Tri-State area.
In February of 2006, Midwest Medical Center entered into a collaborative partnership with the University of Illinois, Department of Emergency Medicine to provide our medical directorship for emergency services and physician staffing for our Emergency Department. As a result, our core group of Board-Certified Emergency Medicine Physicians come to us from the University of Illinois at Chicago. They provide our community with outstanding and medically advanced care, as well as strong leadership and continuing education to our nursing staff and emergency response services.
Every detail of Midwest Medical Center has been designed with patients and their families' needs in mind. We invite you to stop in and take a look at all we have to offer. From our Vista Café to our Whispering Willow Gift Shop, from our advanced and spacious fitness center and convenient out-patient imaging, laboratory and physical therapy services, we want you to experience our hospitality in a healing environment.
